WHAT TO DO WITH PETS

I have this beautiful Shih Tzu named Lingy, named after the Geelong Footballer who is famous for his long red locks. Lingy is not a dog, he’s a second child. (I also have  a pain in the butt puppy called Bill) So I know more than anyone about how much we love our pets.

But when it comes to selling your house, in short – They’ve gotta go!

Let’s face it. Animals smell, they destroy things, they leave a mess. And this can be offputting to a prospective buyer. It’s important that we essentially destroy all evidence that the animal even existed.

Sorry. I know it hurts.

PRO TIP: HAVE A PET SYSTEM

You don’t have to eliminate them from your life – just your house when buyers come over.

Have a system to take all evidence away. All bowls, litter trays, toys, etc. Get a big plastic box (Bunnings has a lot of choice) and stuff everything in there (not the dog). Then either take the animal for a walk. Or a drive. It’s that simple:)
